| 摘要： | The purpose of the ITS Strategic Plan is to guide the Department Florida Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) and local governments in the planning, programming and implementation of integrated multi-modal ITS elements to maximize the safety and efficiency of Floridas Transportation System. This ITS Strategic Plan includes the Departments statewide vision for ITS as well as a set of guiding principles to assist in the long range planning and project development needed to achieve that vision. An ITS business Plan is included that details the recommended steps for Departments ITS program development and deployment over the next 5 years. The plan fits into the existing framework of the Departments Mission Statement and the goals and objectives as set forth in the 2020 Florida Transportation Plan. However, the plan also recommends an additional statewide goal in regard to management and operations of transportation facilities. |
