| 摘要： | In 1999, 4 percent of all fatal vehicle crashes and 3 percent of all nonfatal vehicle crashes involved truck rollovers. Technology developed by researchers at the Texas Transportation Institute (TTI) hopes to address this concern by providing drivers with an onboard rollover warning and control system. This system, which reacts automatically to dangerous conditions such as acceleration, strain, pressure, temperature and braking, can warn drivers of dangerous situations and could help prevent accidents. |
