摘要: ACCORDING TO DIN 1072 ONLY CONCRETE REINFORCING STEEL I IS PERMITTED FOR REINFORCING SUPPORTS SUBJECT TO IMPACT DANGER. THIS GIVES RISE TO CONSTRUCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL DESIGN DIFFICULTIES DUE TO AN OFTEN UNAVOIDABLE AMASSING OF REINFORCING STEELS. THESE DIFFICULTIES WOULD NOT ARISE IF CONCRETE REINFORCING STEEL III WERE PERMITTED. WHETHER THIS IS POSSIBLE CAN BE ESTABLISHED BY SUITABLE LABORATORY TESTS WITH REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS WHICH ARE SUBJECTED TO AN IMPACT TYPE STRESSING INVOLVING HIGH RATES OF LOAD APPLICATION. THE TESTS ARE CARRIED OUT IN FREIMANN IN THE GERMAN FEDERAL RAILWAY LABORATORIES.
