Intelligent Transport Systems require the development of extensive communications systems, and the development of ergonomically and technically advanced in-car systems. The equipment may be distributed by a range of different types of outlets, and installed at differing stages of a vehicles life, from factory-fit to after-market retro-fit. However, without a highly developed organiser and provider of the Customer Services to be delivered either through or with the help of the in-car equipment, it will not be possible to gain customer acceptance of the technology. This paper will demonstrate the criteria to be used to select the Service Provider to deliver the value added services to the end-user. |
