| 摘要： | Recently there has been a widespread initiative to apply Intelligent Transportation Systems to facilitate commercial motor vehicle operations. The major objective of this study is to collect motor carrier operator perceptions and beliefs about the potential benefits of the automated electronic services used for credential processing and safety enforcement to be implemented by the state of Maryland under the CVISN initiative. Additionally, the study also reports on the current use of telecommunication and computer technologies. The Maryland motor carrier industry is receptive to technological solutions; however, the results suggest a need for motor carrier education and outreach activities. |
