| 摘要： | During the last three years there has been a 10.2% reduction in fatalities in road accidents in France. This is attributed to a national program with a target of 50% reduction in traffic accident casualties. The French research programme in land transport is described, including an accident database, accident prevention and intelligent transport systems.
