It provides a representation of the system that is useful for conveying the ideas for future improved transportation systems to the general public. The Mission Definition contains a concise mission statement explaining the purpose of the National ITS Architecture. The mission is defined, based on ITS architecture goals and objectives, in such a manner that it can be accomplished across diverse operational scenarios and deployment timeframes. |
