| 摘要： | The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT's) Strategic Management Plan includes sections about optimizing the use of technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness so as to improve transportation in Kansas. The Research Unit Staff are directly involved in Research, Development and Technology Transfer (RDT) activities. Many other at KDOT also provide support to the RDT function. This report documents RDT activities at KDOT during FY-2000. Research at KDOT focuses on solving practical problems in both technical and policy areas as well as assisting our customers in using new technologies. Agency staff are involved with the K-TRAN program, Transportation Research Board, AASHTO and many other technical organizations all working to advance new technology. |
