摘要：	Overall Road Infrastructure development is essential to encourage socio economic developments. This paper deals with a different approach to develop effective road transportation through self-generating funding system. Having realized that public sector as central or State Government has limitation to provide huge funding for all types of road network development being a Welfare State. Hence it is essential to think out of traditional practices only through government budget. Rather self generating funding system is required to be implemented for infrastructure development specially during financial crisis. The author has suggested that the heavy traffic corridor road infrastructure development is possible through the Public Private Participation (PPP) projects and other road network development through state budget. Methodology adopted by the author to create pay out and return over investment through PPP projects for the road network development with the clustering of heavy traffic and medium traffic corridor roads. Also author has suggested concept of road side stations for other commercial activities associated with villages along road side. Recommendations and conclusions are provided in the end to have socio economic benefits from the road infrastructure.
