摘要：	Leon Daniels: I guess, Anna, the burning question is, what made you be the founder of the Highways Sector Council? Anna Delvecchio: After securing the rail sector deal, I thought it would be a great opportunity for the highways sector to come together, to collaborate on a number of key focuses. I explored some ideas with other HSC members. I thought it was a great opportunity for the sector to speak as a unified voice to central and local government. Leon: I think we were inspired by the rail sector deal. One of the exciting things for me - and we have gone further with this than anyone in the past - [is] with a number of simple steps the Government can have a lot more roads for its money. We need to harness the skills, innovation, technology and people, and in return from Government we need some things like a longer funding settlement for local roads.
