Frbifart Stockholm (FS) is the first major project that has climate requirements written into the contract. Since this work is in its development phase, it is important to follow this work and take care of the experience that emerges from both the client (Trv) and contractors. Both execution contracts and turnkey contracts are used within FS, which allows one to draw conclusions for both types of construction contracts. It is a great advantage that an impartial person can follow the work and evaluate what went well and less well in the various contracts. Expected benefits of the case study is to develop a unified approach in addressing climate requirements in TRV internally and externally with contractors in the construction phase. The project aims are within Frbifart Stockholm: 1. identify aspects in execution and turnkey contracts that promotes or hinders the fullfillment of climate requirements; 2. Assess whether the contracts were favorably formulated to support reduced emissions during the design and construction; 3. Examine how work with climate requirements can be improved and managed more clearly to external contractors, and internally within TRV. |
