The study aims to describe the theory related to the area of integrated performance control that are deemed relevant to the Swedish Transport Administration � with regard to the Swedish Transport Administration's business logic, challenges etc. The study should in particular take into account the special conditions that may exist for integrated performance control in government agencies. This can affect the choice of the theories described. The goal is that the study will lead to increased knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations for activity suited governance. The results of the study will be to direct use in a planned business development project "Activity suited governance", which starts in January 2017. The expected benefit of the study is � by extension � to help provide increased opportunities for an effective and efficient management of the Swedish Transport Administration.
