摘要：	The aim of this project is to study the possibilities for development and validation of new types of messages and signals that can be used as acoustic escape alarm and audio beacons in road tunnels. These messages and signals shall be able to be distinguished easily dispite the challenging environment in a road tunnel. The principle differs from the systems used today in tunnels that are based on sound that is temporally displaced between speakers. Current systems require a lot of Equipment and are therefore expensive. The proposed system is considered to be a very cost effective option. In the proposed State-of-the-art analysis (SOTA) no concept development will take place, it will focus on topic relevant research carried out. With this as a basis, the possibilities to achieve better and more cost-effective alarms and signals for tunnel environments are analyzed.
