| 摘要： | An objective of the proposed investigation is to assess the corrosion rate range/magnitude of carbon steel rebars embedded in high performance concrete during the propagation stage. The measured corrosion rate values will assist in providing better input values for service life models. Another objective is to gain insight on the effect caused by anode size, chloride concentration (both in the solution and at the reinforcement), and environmental exposure during the propagation stage. To have this information is of extreme importance as to be able to make propagation predictions and determine the time needed for corrective action once corrosion is initiated. This will assist the Florida Department of Transportation Districts in developing budget needs for repairs. |
