Frltande asfalt fr cykel- och gngbanor
项目名称: Frltande asfalt fr cykel- och gngbanor
摘要: Within RISE ToD project financed by Vinnova and partners, pavement have for the first time been made cushioning. This has been done through the involvement of tire rubber and / or modification of binders. Modeling of cyclist accidents have shown that the shock absorption of the materials can lead to up to 45% reduced risk of injury in a collision with asphalt and a higher rubber involvement provides greater injury risk reduction. Furthermore, tests of friction show adequate levels according to existing requirements. An aspect of the project is that the rubber has lower ice affinity than the mineral it replaces, which is highly interesting from the winter maintenance point of view. Many municipalities are interested and proposed project intends to bring this idea on to test tracks in pilot cities. Material proportioning, material properties, paving parameters, comfort study and outcomes are parameters included in this project. The project constellation includes representatives from a construction company (Peab), both laboratory and coating parts to cover both the formulation and paving. It also includes bitumen companies (Total) with expertise in polymer modified bitumen may be required to maximize adhesion, cohesion and the failure of the coating materials. Trafikverket who has managed two multi-year projects for rubber mixing in asphalt for the optimization of wear and noise reduction are also among the project partners as well as Svensk Dcktervinning AB with expertise in rubber granules and also Intab delivering measurement equipment used to test shock absorption in playgrounds. The project will be coordinated by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden who also coordinated ToD project.
