| 摘要： | The FHRG is a research and innovation group comprising 41 local highway authorities (LHAs), including county councils, unitaries, London boroughs and metropolitan authorities. It is the official research partner of ADEPT, and our members currently represent over 84% of the English local road network. A principal research theme of the FHRG is climate change, including the measurement, reporting, and reduction of carbon emissions across LHA supply chains. A lack of standardisation in the sector has led to highly fragmented approaches to carbon measurement, carbon accounting and carbon reduction. As a response, the FHRG has developed the CCAS as guidance for FHRG and ADEPT members. Released on 31 October, the CCAS document provides pragmatic, step-by-step guidance for highway authorities and their supply chain partners in implementing the GHG (greenhouse gas) protocols for measuring and reporting carbon emissions. |
