摘要：	Road pavement management specialist Rodeco has added two new products to its offering, both aimed to prolong the life of road surfaces, cutting whole-life costs and carbon. Its white Polycon E-Krete has been designed for roads within tunnels, whereas black surface treatment Onyx is ideal for airport paving and heavy-duty roads. "Our philosophy is to promote preventative maintenance to pavements," says Dr Gianfranco Battiato, who founded Rodeco in 1983. "When you are losing friction performance, for instance, or when there are small cracks or ravelling, these surface treatments prolong the life of the pavement." Polvcon E-Krete consists of a snecial polymer, combined with cement and special additives, which is laid over the surface of a road at 3mm thickness, using a machine that creates grooves to provide friction.
