The value of the water resistance of the amphibious aircraft, directly related to the application range and the economy performance, is an important performance of the aircraft when planning on the water. The existing studies show that the water resistance has an maximum value at approximately 30~40% of the take-off speed, called the hump resistance, whose value and position will be the important standard of judging the speed and powering performance of the aircraft, and also be the basis for the selection of the engine of the aircraft and the prediction of the sea-state capability of the aircraft.Taking the towing tank test as the primary research method, the water resistance curve of the amphibious aircraft is analyzed at the take-off process, and the effects of the height of the step, the ratio of the forebody length to the afterbody length, the value and distribution of the deadrise angle on the water resistance and the value and position of the hump resistance of the aircraft at the take-off process are also studied in this paper. These conclusions will provide some guidance for the design of amphibious hull in future, and also provide the reference for the study of the speed and powering performance of high speed planning boat. |
