摘要: |
One of the most dangerous accidents is fight turn crash in countries that use the left side of the road.Dependent on an actual demand at a signalized intersection, we went to discuss how to reduce the risk of having a traffic accident for right turns across oncoming flow of traffic by application of traffic countermeasures.Therefore, this study tried to observe and analyze right-turn driving behaviors in a driving simulator study, with intersection improvements of channelizing lines to ensure suitable visual angles to distinguish the oncoming vehicles for anticipants.By the experimental results, it indicated that time gap acceptance become more longer than that before the improvement, which can help drivers to make an advantageous right turns. |
