Casting technology will gradually ignore engine parts and components and will transit to focus on aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and other casting is structures required by new energy vehicles, including electric motor, gearbox shell, cell box, strake, and dashboard, etc. Characteristics of those structures will enable them to develop towards more complicated structure, high performance, high quality and low costs, unlike whole vehicle manufacturing which mainly develops towards customization. Intelligent casting is composed of online real-time measurement, big data processing, intelligent and real-time device control, which can en- sure the demands for quality casting products. The key and difficult point of casting intelligentization is about the visual technology used in mold filling and solidification of high-temperature liquid, i. e. how to collect key parameters which are difficultly seen during casting and find out the correlation between various parameters and casting quality, so as to enrich casting expert system database, retrieve expert information, judge internal quality of casting parts online, realize read time control of intelligent equipment and process quality fluctuation in real time, realize intelligent casting, and achieve the goal of lean casting production. We have proposed corresponding solutions. Firstly, for the application of sensor, we have developed the molds of location, temperature and pressure sensors, etc. Through the collection of relative data in the course of casting, the " visualization" during the casting can be realized to some ex- tent. The installation positions for various sensors'test solution(casting)in the mold and the corresponding data cases collected by sensor in a real-time manner. |
