Fasteners play a critical role on stiffness and strength on the vehicle frame assembly,which incluse a lot of bolts and rivets.The number and configuration of fasteners may cause a great influence on frame performance.However,there is short of a test and verification method,which may be systematic,quantitative,high-efficient and low-cost,using for studying optimization of configura-tion for fasteners,thus a quantitative evaluation method of fastener connection's sensitivity for vehicle frame strength influences was ver-ified and explored on the basis of an exclusion analysis method and computer aided simulation.By aiming at optimization of fastener dis-tribution in the frame of medium & heavy duty vehicles,the bolted connection of middle first beam on frame assembly was focused.With partitions,grades and the gradually evaluation method,finite element software calculation was used to draw a distribution diagram of fastener connection's sensitivity on frame strength influences.During the explorative process,the method was adjusted and improved to make preparations for further application and expansion. |
