| 摘要： | Providing a national traveler information infrastructure is now being implemented by the private sector. Private sector traffic and traveler information is already available in more than 65 metropolitan areas in the U.S., plus the national highway system, to support broadcast radio and television traffic reports. These private sector reporting services utilize available information from government-agency sources as well as from their own sources such as surveillance aircraft ground observers, cell-phone callers, fleets, and private CCTV cameras. By making such information available in uniform formats throughout the U.S., the private sector can provide a national ATIS infrastructure within the next few years which can interface with ATIS products and services and thereby facilitate and accelerate growth of U.S. ATIS markets. |
