摘要: THIS RESEARCH IS BEING CARRIED OUT IN THE CONTEXT OF THE INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION ON BIOMECHANICS. ITS AIM IS TO DETERMINE THE TOLERANCE LIMITS OF THE HUMAN BODY IN SIDE IMPACTS. THREE TESTS WILL BE CARRIED OUT WITH DUMMIES AND THREE WITH CADAVERS IN TWO REAL SIDE IMPACTS. THE TEST CONDITIONS WERE DEFINED WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE COMMITTEE OF CAR MANUFACTURERS OF THE COMMON MARKET. IN EACH COLLISION, THE BEHAVIOUR OF LIVING PERSONS, DUMMIES AND CADAVERS WILL BE COMPARED, AND MEASUREMENTS WILL BE TAKEN ON DUMMIES AND CADAVERS. INJURIES WILL BE RECORDED ON LIVE PERSONS AND CADAVERS.
