摘要: USING A NEWLY DEVELOPED MODELLING MATERIAL - EPOXY RESIN WITH QUARTZ SAND AGGREGATE - WHICH HAS THE SAME TRANSVERSE SHRINKAGE AS CONCRETE, TWO MODELS OF TWIN-WEB PLATE GIRDER BRIDGES HAVING A CONSTANT OR HAUNCHED CARRIAGEWAY SLAB ARE TO BE CONSTRUCTED. INFLUENCING FACTORS ARE TO BE DETERMINED IN EACH CASE FOR THREE ARRANGEMENTS OF THE MODELS - FULLY RESTRAINED MAIN GIRDER, MAIN GIRDER RESTRAINED FOR BENDING BUT ABLE TO ROTATE FOR TORSION, AND MAIN GIRDER WITH CONTINUOUS LINEAR SUPPORT. IT IS EXPECTED THAT CONVERSION FACTORS FOR THE PLATE INTERSECTING MOMENTS OF HOMBERG AND GRASSHOFF WILL BE ABLE TO BE DERIVED FROM THE RESULTS, SO THAT THE DESIGN OF THESE CARRIAGEWAY SLABS CAN PROCEED MORE REALISTICALLY AND SIMPLY.
