摘要: THE AIM OF THE STUDIES PROPOSED IS TO INDICATE NEW PARAMETERS WHICH AFFECT THE MECHANISM OF THE DESTRUCTION OF CONCRETE UNDER ATTACK BY FROST AND DEICING SALT, AND TO ESTABLISH THE EXTENT TO WHICH PRESENT HYPOTHESES DESCRIBE THE DAMAGE MECHANISM. THE INFLUENCE OF THE CONTENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF CAPILLARY AND SYNTHETIC AIR VOIDS ON THE TRANSPORT OF WATER AND SOLUTIONS IN CONCRETE IS TO BE ESTABLISHED.
