| 摘要： | The aim of the project is to design the instrumentation and testing protocols for a pair of test embankments brought to failure. The objective is to assess the conservatism of current design methods for the prediction of ground movements and overall stability, and to develop methods to estimate the gain of strength under road and railway embankments in time. We will also evaluate, if the savings in design provided by improved quality in soil data justifies the extra expense. |
