摘要：	Procurement and contract design is a key to increased productivity in the construction sector. If rethinking and innovation is not valued in the contracts, then innovation will not pay off for the contractors. It is about giving the supplier market business conditions and opportunities to meet their full potential. This project aims to identify and develop four implementable measures on procurement and contract design at the market. The aim is to stimulate innovation. Inspiration for the project's organization comes from various calls for "industry-driven research centers". Within this project, a steering committee from the industry points out the four most prioritized issues which are then researched in four subprojects. The research is conducted by VTI together with industry representatives. The project ties in with InfraSwedens2030's (Vinnova) action "Increased productivity in transport infrastructure for better social utility" but in particular the focus area "Improved procurement strategies for the efficient use of supplier resources." The steering group has representation from all players in the market, the largest purchaser (Trafikverket), the major contractors (NCC, Skanska, Peab), SMEs (represented by Machine Contractors and the Swedish Construction Federation) and consultants (represented by Sweco plus one additional). The strong link to industry brings that the research results, already at the final presentation, are largely sanctioned by the actors on the Swedish construction market.
