The goal of the research effort is to facilitate the initiation of a 30-year effort to transform the highway infrastructure into a robust durable system capable of remaining serviceable for the following 50- to 100-years. The project aims to identify the specific causes of degradation within the highway infrastructure develop remediation measures and deploy the solutions throughout the system. |
