| 摘要： | MIRIAM is a project started by twelve partners from Europe and the USA, consisting of universities, research institutes, and national road authorities. The overall objective of the MIRIAM project is to develop, provide and disseminate a strategic tool for achieving energy saving and CO2-reducing goals for decision makers to employ to road design and maintenance. The MIRIAM project began in 2010 and has in 2016 initiated a third work phase. The first phase had as main objective to investigate pavement characteristics, energy efficiency, modelling, and raising awareness of the project by focussing on mean profile depth (MPD) and international roughness index (IRI). Building on the first work phase, the second phase focussed more on the development and implementation of CO2 controlling models in road infrastructure asset management systems. The third period is centred on further development of a strategic tool based on already published and ongoing MIRIAM-related research. Hereby, the MIRIAM project will target direct implementation of results into asset management systems to instrument future energy efficient roads with less rolling resistance. |
