The purpose of the study is to develop a basis for projects that will conduct applied research in air traffic - the need for a high level of automation - the unmanned vehicles, as well as related issues of urban planning and the need for regulation, for: - Optimization algorithms for adjusting flight routes with real-time adaptation to changing circumstances, such as: congestion, wind, flight paths that opens / closes (dynamic "no-go-zones"), risk levels (for separationsunderskridanden, delays, etc.), risk areas (traffic to / from the airport). The routes are based on desired / Preliminary roadmaps; - Interactive visualization and operational concepts for monitoring air traffic in uncontrolled airspace, with a focus on interaction with optimization algorithms, to example: adjust priorities (eg noise vs shortest distance), monitoring risk levels in system (such as the volume of traffic is approaching established limits for safe traffic, desired / ongoing traffic adjusted), manage the unexpected / unplanned (eg, if the weather differs from wind progonsen traffic may need to be adjusted by the increased distance between vehicles; other routes may be desirable); - Planning and Services, Norrkoping explored as a specific case. expertise and stakeholders in the field both locally and nationally explores potential / risks / consequences for private / public activities (such as services that can use the unmanned aircraft), as well as for urban planning in the short and long term; - Control also studied, with Norrkping cases, to see the need for new regulation forward, or adjustment of the current regulation (eg regarding traffic near airports, over inhabited areas). |
