| 摘要： | The project aims to analyze the consequences of different ways to regulate tire use on heavy vehicles. Primary consequences for road degradation are assessed, but other effects are also included, such as rolling resistance and vehicle costs. In order to design requirements a deeper understanding is needed of the characteristics that affect the degradation. This creates opportunities to make reasonable simplification of the use of tires that are verifiable. Therefore, the project is implemented in two stages. First, an analysis of the desirable and undesirable tire properties on the degradation of pavements and impact on maintenance costs and the need for increased bearing capacity. Then an assessment is done of how different regulations would affect the use of the tires. |
