| 摘要： | Ultrasonic testing is the tool we use for preventing rail breaks occuring from growth of cracks and damages in the rail. Ultrasonic testing is important to maintain safety of our tracks. The ultrasonic testing of today can be improved. In the NARMO-project we want to increase the periodicity of the automatic ultrasonic testing (done by train) och change the demands on some types of cracks. This in order to follow the growth and action on the defects in the right time. The trial length should be at least 3 years, to make sure that periodicity of testing, defect sizes and action times is on a good level before implementing in a larger scale throughout the network. Purpose: The purpose of the project is to increase the robustness and the security of the railway and to use the funds for railway maintenance in the best way possible. Goal: Increased periodic ultrasonic testing and action times adapted to the railway. Benefits: Defects, cracks and damages to the rail, can be monitored and actioned on in the right time; Easier for maintenance contractors to plan maintenance from the ultrasonic testing. |
