摘要：	InterCityLog is a unique solution where freight and recycling is co-distributed in cities. The solution involves two heavy-duty diesel vehicles for freight and recycling being replaced by one small vehicle. Energy efficiency is significant, 65-70%, by route and freight optimization through coordination at several levels. The solution is possible through collaboration and perceived benefits for project stakeholders: the City of Stockholm, freight carriers and logistics companies. New flexible cargo carriers that can transport both goods and waste are crucial, which are unique and offer new opportunities for the optimization of both routes and their load factors. In addition to energy efficiency, other benefits are less heavy vehicles in the city, reduced congestion, emissions and noise.
