摘要：	The Swedish Transport Administration is currently carrying out a project linking the status of the road/rail embankment stability to requirements for improvement. In 2014, a status report will be presented reviewing previous studies and studies carried out in that same project regarding methodology for the estimation of safety/condition assessment /risk analysis for slopes/roads/railways. Two new methodologies are presented and these will now be tested in this project through calculation and evaluation of at least two existing embankments. Comparative studies will be made with similar ongoing work performed by Swedish Geotechnical Institute (SGI) with landslide hazard mapping within SGI's climate funds and by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Norway with the aim of identifying interesting and possible means to further developing the methodologies. Risk assessment /comparisons and a suggestion for classification will be presented in a final report. The goal is to use this as a way to identify the objects with the greatest risks where measures should be implemented and where they at the same time will generate the greatest effect. By following a clearly presented methodology the work with prioritizing among the objects will be carried out in a more systematic way
