| 摘要： | There is a need to ensure that the safety performance of the commuter rail industry is appropriately assessed and analyzed, and that the results are documented and effectively communicated to the commuter railroads, government, industry associations, and other interested parties. To meet this need, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Office of Safety and Security, working cooperatively with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Office of Safety, has performed this Commuter Rail Safety Study.
