| 摘要： | Maintenance of winter roads in Sweden costs over 2 billion SEK each year. By combining FCD data from vehicles with road weather information from RWIS it is possible to determine the road condition in regards to slipperiness and friction. With the new RSI technology, it is possible to optimize winter road maintenance by offering accurate and comprehensive information to contractors and other user groups about present road weather in the entire road network. The suggested project aims to demonstrate the benefits of RSI to the different groups of users by fitting the RSI system with demonstrator capabilities. During the project, it is analyzed how to maximize the usefulness of RSI to the users by studying what and how to display information. Further it is analyzed what benefit potential a nationwide RSI system would have for winter maintenance in general and for monitoring and follow-up of winter maintenance performance in particular. RSI is a unique project globally and the aim is to make Sweden a global leader in the field and simultaneously give Swedish companies and brands a competitive advantage. The project is made possible by new cooperations between large companies in vehicle manufacturing and smaller companies in business areas outside the normal operation of the vehicle manufacturers. The latest research in climatology from Swedish universities can be brought onto the market at a large scale thanks to a project like RSI. |
