摘要：	The PICASSO project contributes to the global framework of the EU maritime transport policy and to Motorways of the Sea objectives by inter alia: improving safety of equipment, upgrading working practices for safer operations, developing new tools with a view to achieving more efficient evacuation procedures and smart and efficient response. On the long term, PICASSO will create a more sustainable shipping industry by reducing the environmental impact and improving safety and efficiency. The project is organized in four core activities: 1) On board / on shore safe, efficient and secure operations; 2) Emergency situations; 3) Training and human factors; 4) Action communication and coordination. Chalmers together with SMA are involved in sub-activity 3.2; IT tools for Crew Training (Serious Games): safety and advanced SAR methods. The extent of activity 3.2 is the development of new tools for training and analysis within the field of safety and search and rescue. The scope of the activities is to decrease risk of misunderstandings during SAR operations and at the same time increase effectivity of SAR missions. The project will employ technology developed within the projects MONALISA 2.0, STM Validation Project and EfficienSea II.training and an educational module (theoretical/practical training action) to instruct the future SAR officers in using the new procedure
